About Us

Tricia (R) and Mallori (L) - the heart and soul of Jackpot Farms.

Welcome to Jackpot Farms, breeders of top quality Labrador Retrievers, Beagles, and Shorthorn Cattle, located on the California Central Coast in Santa Margarita.

The mother-daughter team that makes up Jackpot Farms is dedicated to enriching the lives of our families when you purchase a Jackpot Farms Labrador, Beagle, or Shorthorn.

Annie

Wizard

We got our start in 1998 in Paso Robles, California when we bought our first Labrador Hank, from a local breeder in Atascadero, CA. After that we got Annie, a chocolate Labrador female, from another local breeder. Annie was our foundation, and was always the mother hen to all of the puppies. We had our first litter of Labradors in May of 2004, which was an all chocolate litter. On a recommendation from Annie's breeder, we had the litter evaluated. The breeder/handler who came to evaluate the litter, told us who the pick puppy was, and that was our Maggie, who enjoyed life in Colorado.  In 2005 we bred our second litter of Labs, giving us our Sadie Brown.

The year 2006 brought us Wizard, our very first stud dog, and our third litter of Labradors. That litter gave us our Sissy, who is loving life in Colorado with her people and two of her puppies.

With the exception of Hank, we continued to only have chocolates until 2007, when we got Rainy, a yellow, from BluTop Farms and Wyntercreek Labradors in Washington.

Rainy

We had our first litter of yellows in 2010 when we bred Rainy to Dutch from Dalwater Labradors. We repeated the breeding in 2011, which gave us GG, one of our best producers and show dogs yet.

In early 2010 we leased a chocolate dog named Splash from a breeder in Nipomo, CA. We eventually bought Splash from her in mid 2011.

In September of 2011 we bought our first black female, Abby, from Weikenlin Labradors in Minnesota. Two months later, in November of 2011 we brought home Storm Ryder, our newest chocolate male.

Tricia and Flica - September 2015

In July of 2011 Mallori began showing GG, a yellow female from Rainy and Dutch's second litter. GG was our "Reserve Queen", picking up her first points in Hanford, CA, with very limited showing.

In December of 2012, we acquired Eiffel, a chocolate female from Blu Top Farms, Rainy's breeders, in Washington.

The year of 2013 brought about a wind of change. In January, GG picked up her first 3 point Major in Ventura, CA. Early that year we got our Australian Shepherd, Tyson. Then known as Bo, Tyson took to Mallori instantly. The two very quickly became the dynamic duo, and racked up a list of wins like no other.

Mallori and Jett - Long Beach, CA - June 2016

In August, Mallori met Genevieve of Double Diamond Beagles, and to make a long story short, we had our first Beagle, Sig, just a few months later in October.

2014 was a year of some very nice wins, and even nicer dogs. The year marked several wins for Mallori and Sig, the whelping of our Fetish, going to the California Mid State Fair with Magellan, Storm's wins in Las Vegas, NV, and Pleasanton, CA, and the acquirement of Miles and Flica, two 15" tri colored Beagles. In July we bred GG to Rogue (MBISS GCH Laurglen Ardent Rogue at HySpire JH CD RA CGC) which resulted in a litter of 6 puppies, from which we kept Jett and Cherie.

Ringo

The year of 2015 was another year of nice wins. In January, Mallori was ranked as the #1 Brittany Junior with her co-owned red and white Brittany, River. That year we also brought home two heifers. A Black Angus heifer, Lita, and a Hereford/Angus cross heifer, Fanny. Early in the year, Fetish was awarded Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the San Joaquin Valley LRC, and Miles finished his championship in Vallejo, CA. 2015 also marked us bringing in our new stud dog, BJ from Jolene of Eagertrieve Labradors in Canada, Mallori bringing home Major, our Wirehaired Dachshund, going to the California Mid State Fair with Ringo, and Jett winning Best Puppy in Specialty Show at the Sierra Vista LRC.

Mallori, Tyson (L), Rumor (C), and Thyme (R) - September 2015

2016 was a whirlwind year. Mallori qualified for Westminster 2017, and the AKC National Championship 2016, Major racked up some wins in Victorville, CA, we brought in our very first Golden Retriever, Monet, from Juan of Loretta Labs in Mexico, and Storm finished his championship in Paso Robles, CA, wrapping up his show career with a Sporting Group 4. We can't be happier with 2016, and we can't wait to see what 2017 will bring us.
