Our puppies are available for adoption to approved homes on "AKC Limited Registrations; we further recommend that our companion puppies be spayed/neutered according to your Veterinarian recommendations.
Clearances
We strive to meet the American Kennel Club recommendations.
At 2 years of age our breed stock is tested by OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) on the Hips and Elbows, Optigen (for Hereditary Eye diseases), EIC (Exercise Induced Collapse), CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy), CARDIO by Auscultation or Color Doppler (for Hereditary Triscuspid Valve murmurs) and an annual CERF (Canine Eye Registry Foundation) exam, before any breeding is considered.
We breed to AKC registered stud dogs at 2 years of age or older who meet or exceed our high standards; who are certified from GOOD to EXCELLENT by OFA on their hips-who are rated NORMAL on their elbows. Be certified as CLEAR/NORMAL or CLEAR/NORMAL by parentage by Optigen for hereditary eye diseases. Be certified CLEAR/NORMAL for CARDIO by Auscultation or Color Doppler. Be certified CLEAR/NORMAL of EIC and CLEAR/NORMAL of CNM. They must also pass CERF testing yearly. Coming from Show Champions and Hunt Titled pedigrees they must also exhibit conformation and temperament qualities we desire in our Labrador puppies.
